Restorative Dentistry

Misshapen, broken, chipped, crooked or decayed… your teeth are a record of your experiences.  With restorative dentistry, it is never too late to correct past mistakes or accidents.

At Advanced Dental Centre, we focus on the restoration of your natural teeth so you can have a second bite at life.  Our restorative dentistry services include:

Dental Implants

Missing teeth or dentures can be replaced with dental implants.  Our Dental Surgeons place a titanium fixture into your jaw, which serves as an anchor for a crown or a set of crowns or bridges.  Those who wear full dentures can also use dental implants to firmly secure them into place. ‘Read More’

Veneers

Veneers are often a quick and easy way to fix front teeth.  We use TGA approved adhesives and porcelain laminate veneers because they provide the look, feel and strength of natural teeth. ‘Read More’

Crown and Bridges

A dental crown, also known as a dental cap or tooth cap, is often the best way to improve the structural strength, and cosmetic look of teeth that have been chipped, worn excessively, heavily filled, or broken down by tooth decay.

If you have missing teeth, a dental bridge could be the solution.  Our Dental Surgeon creates the “bridge” with two dental crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and custom-made teeth in between.  Once bonded, the dental bridge fills the area left by the missing teeth.

You can choose to have your crown or bridge made from porcelain, precious metal or a combination of the two.  We use precious metal to prevent allergic reactions that can sometimes occur when nickel is used.  We only use high grade materials that are TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) approved. ‘Read More’

Tooth-coloured Fillings

Unsightly silver fillings are a thing of the past.  We use composite resins to create tooth-coloured fillings that match the shade and shape of your original teeth.  The filling materials are TGA approved and quick and simple to bond into place.

Occlusal Splints (Night Guards)

Occlusal splints, also known as night guards, can be ideal for people who grind or clench their teeth during sleep.  We make them as small and thin as possible to limit discomfort.  They can reduce tooth wear, chipping and prevent fillings or porcelain restorations from breaking.  They can often, also help to prevent stress and tension-related headaches, and Temperomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorder.

Inlays and Onlays

Porcelain inlays or onlays are often recommended when broken or decayed teeth are located at the back of the mouth.  Thanks to our amazing new CEREC 3D machine, we can offer the latest in ceramic reconstruction technology right here in our dental surgery – and in a single visit.  While you lie back in the dentist’s chair, we use 3D photography and CAD/CAM technology (that’s ‘computer-aided design’ and ‘computer-aided manufacture’) to mill crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and veneers. ‘Read More’
